Bacon Wrapped Beef Cutlets in Cream Sauce
- 500 g / 1.1 lbs beef cutlets
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup / 250 ml chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp / 30 g unsalted butter
- 2 tsp / 10 ml black pepper
- 1 tsp / 5 ml salt
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
2. Season the beef cutlets with salt and black pepper
3. Wrap each beef cutlet with 2 slices of bacon securing with a toothpick if needed
4. Heat 2 tablespoons (30g) of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat
5. Add the bacon-wrapped beef cutlets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned
6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the beef reaches your desired level of doneness
7. While the beef is cooking prepare the cream sauce by mixing 1/4 cup (15g) of chopped parsley with 1 cup (240ml) of heavy cream in a small bowl
8. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the beef rest for a few minutes
9. Serve the beef with the cream sauce spooned over the top
