Baked Brie with Bacon and Mixed Nuts
Ingredients
- 500g (17.6 oz) round brie cheese
- 140g (4.9 oz) bacon, diced
- 190g (1 1/2 cups) mixed nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, and almonds)
- 118ml (1/2 cup) honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the diced bacon in a single layer.
3. Bake the bacon for 15-20 minutes until crispy, then remove and set aside.
4. In a small bowl, combine honey and olive oil, stirring until well blended.
5. Drizzle the honey-olive oil mixture evenly over the top of the brie cheese.
6. Scatter the mixed nuts over the brie, covering the entire surface.
7. Place the brie on the baking sheet with the bacon and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is soft and the nuts are golden.
8. Carefully remove the dish from the oven and top with the crispy bacon. Serve warm.
