Brie and Pear Croissant Roll-Ups
- 250 g (9 oz) Brie cheese
- 250 g (9 oz) croissant dough, cold
- 2 pears
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey
- 2 tablespoons (15 g / 0.5 oz) walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. 2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the croissant dough to a ¼ inch (6 mm) thickness.
3. 3. Spread the Brie cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border around the edges.
4. 4. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and drizzle the honey over the cheese layer.
5. 5. Slice the pears into thin wedges and arrange them on top of the cheese mixture.
6. 6. Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log.
7. 7. Cut the log into 15 equal pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space between each roll-up.
8. 8. Brush the tops of the roll-ups with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
9. 9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown.
10. 10. Allow the roll-ups to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your warm, flaky Brie and Pear Croissant Roll-Ups!
