Chocolate Nougat and Hazelnut Treats

Ingredients
- 8.8 oz (250 g) soft nougat
- 1 1/2 cups (190g) hazelnuts
- 4.4 oz (125 g) dark chocolate
Instructions
1. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, stirring every now and then, until smooth.
2. Remove the melted chocolate from the heat and set aside.
3. Chop the hazelnuts into coarse pieces in a separate bowl.
4. Combine the chopped hazelnuts with the melted chocolate and fold until the hazelnuts are evenly coated.
5. Break the nougat into small pieces, approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
6. Press a piece of nougat into the center of each chocolate-covered hazelnut, ensuring the nougat is fully coated with chocolate.
7. Position the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to set.
8. Serve the treats chilled and enjoy!
