Citrusy Berry Sparkler with Fresh Mint and Elderflower
Ingredients
- 750 ml (3 1/3 cups) sparkling wine (prosecco or cava)
- 240 ml (1 cup) elderflower syrup
- 300 g (10.6 oz) frozen strawberries
- 1 lemon (zested, then sliced for garnish)
- 15 g (0.5 oz / about 1/4 cup) fresh mint leaves
- ice cubes (for serving)
Instructions
1. Add lemon zest and frozen strawberries to a large pitcher
2. Pour in sparkling wine
3. Add fresh mint leaves and gently muddle to release their aroma
4. Stir in elderflower syrup until fully blended
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
6. Serve over ice in tall glasses
7. Garnish with lemon slices and extra mint leaves if desired
