Classic Coleslaw
Ingredients
- White cabbage 300g
- Carrots 100g
- Mayonnaise 2 cups
- Salt 1 tsp
- Dijon mustard 1 tsp
- Citron juice ½ tsp
- Black pepper freshly ground
- White vinegar ½ tsp
Instructions
1. Chop the white cabbage finely. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl whisk together 150g mayonnaise or 1/2 cup mayonnaise 20g Dijon mustard or 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard 25ml white vinegar or 1 tablespoon white vinegar and 15ml citron juice until smooth.
3. Add the chopped cabbage to the bowl toss until they are evenly coated with the dressing.
4. Season with salt to taste use freshly ground black pepper as needed.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
