Creamy Mustard Sauce for Ham
Ingredients
- 240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
- 240 ml (1 cup) sweet and spicy mustard
- 1.25 ml (1/2 tsp) salt
- 5 ml (1 tsp) freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Pour the heavy cream into a mixing bowl and add the black pepper. Whisk until fully incorporated.
2. Add the sweet and spicy mustard and continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.
3. Stir in the salt gradually, adjusting to taste.
4. Chill the sauce for at least 1 hour before serving, or serve at room temperature. Ideal serving range is 4°C (40°F) to 25°C (77°F).
5. Pair with warm or cold ham for a classic pairing that enhances every bite.
