Easy Treat Dumplings

Ingredients
- 400g (14 ounces) unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
- 200g (1 cup) granulated sugar
- 5.6g (1 teaspoon) vanilla sugar
- 6g (1 teaspoon) baking powder
- 540g (4½ cups) all-purpose flour
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C or 390°F, making sure it's nice and hot for our treats.
2. In a large mixing bowl or food processor, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and a touch of vanilla sugar.
3. Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and gently mix until a dough forms. Don't overdo it, or your pastry might become tough.
4. Now, divide the dough into about 15 small balls. They don't have to be perfect, just roughly the same size.
5. Place a small piece of candy, like a chocolate chip or a caramel, right in the center of each dough ball.
6. Pop the dough balls onto a baking tray and into the preheated oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes in the middle of the oven, or until they're lightly golden brown.
