Moist Chocolate Cake with Milk Chocolate Topping

Ingredients
- 1.7 cups (210g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 0.8 cup (80g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.2 tsp (1g) salt
- 3 large eggs
- 3.2 oz (90g) unsalted butter melted
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 3.2 oz (90g) milk chocolate chopped divided
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan.
2. In a large bowl whisk eggs granulated sugar and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
3. Add flour cocoa powder and salt mixing until just combined.
4. Pour melted butter into batter mixing until smooth.
5. Transfer batter to prepared pan. Sprinkle 2.1 oz (60g) chopped milk chocolate evenly over surface.
6. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Cool cake completely in pan.
8. Melt remaining 1.1 oz (30g) milk chocolate and drizzle over cake. Dust with powdered sugar.
