Ingredients
- 1. 600g / 1.32lb cod fillet, cut into portion-sized pieces
- 2. 4 cups / 480g boiled potatoes
- 3. 4 cups / 250g sugar snap peas
- 4. 1½ teaspoons / 7.5ml salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the sugar snap peas to your liking, either by steaming or sautéing them.
2. Season the cod fillet pieces with 7.5 ml (1 1/2 teaspoons) of salt.
3. Pan-fry the cod pieces in a hot skillet over medium-high heat, approximately 200°C (392°F), until they are cooked through and flaky. Remove the cod from the heat and set it aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the creamy shrimp sauce (refer to separate recipe for preparation) and stir to combine, ensuring the sauce is heated through.
5. Serve the pan-seared cod pieces atop boiled potatoes and alongside the prepared sugar snap peas. Spoon the creamy shrimp sauce generously over the dish.
6. Serve and enjoy your delicious Swedish-inspired meal, also known as a traditional Scandinavian dish.
