This is a recipe to be shared, laughter echoing as it's poured from a generously filled pitcher. So gather your closest companions, and indulge in the essence of summer captured in this elegant drink.
Ingredients
  • 1.4 liters (6 cups) rosé wine
  • 720 ml (3 cups) orange juice
  • 300 g (10 oz) strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 240 ml (1 cup) grape-flavored tonic water
  • 1 medium orange, sliced
  • 10 fresh sprigs lemon balm
  • Ice cubes, as needed
Instructions

1. 1. In a large pitcher, combine 1 bottle (750 ml) of rosé wine with 500 ml (2 cups) of orange juice. Stir well to fully mix.

2. 2. Add 1 sliced orange to the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

3. 3. Just before serving, gently stir in 500 ml (2 cups) of grape-flavored tonic water, taking care to maintain its carbonation.

4. 4. Add 150 g (1 cup) of sliced strawberries and stir gently.

5. 5. Fill serving glasses with ice cubes.

6. 6. Pour the sangria over the ice.

7. 7. Give each glass a light stir and garnish with a fresh sprig of lemon balm.

8. Tip: Be careful when handling the knife while slicing the fruits to ensure a safe preparation process.
