Salmon with creamy mustard-dill sauce
Ingredients
- 400 g (14.1 oz) salmon fillet, skin removed
- 180 ml (0.76 cups) heavy cream
- 60 g (0.38 cups) chopped onion
- 120 ml (0.51 cups) Dijon mustard
- 15 g (0.053 oz) chopped fresh dill
- 1 g (0.035 oz) paprika
- 300 g (10.6 oz) boiled potatoes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper.
3. In a large skillet, heat two tablespoons of oil over medium heat.
4. Add the salmon fillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
5. While the salmon cooks, prepare the mustard-dill sauce. In a medium bowl, whisk together 180 ml heavy cream, 120 ml Dijon mustard, 60 g finely chopped onion, 15 g chopped fresh dill, 1 g paprika, salt and pepper.
6. Once the salmon is done, serve it hot with the mustard-dill sauce generously spooned over the top.
7. Serve alongside boiled potatoes and a fresh salad, garnished with chopped parsley.
