Ingredients
  • 200 g (7 oz) beef strip loin sliced thin
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) egg noodles uncooked
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) teriyaki sauce
  • 22.5 ml (1 1/2 tablespoons) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 large onion thinly sliced
  • 7.5 ml (1/2 tablespoon) roasted sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions

1. Cook egg noodles according to package until al dente then drain and set aside

2. Season beef strips with salt and pepper and let stand 15 minutes

3. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 15 ml (1 tablespoon) butter

4. Sear beef until browned about 2 minutes per side then transfer to plate

5. Add remaining 7.5 ml (1/2 tablespoon) butter to skillet

6. Add onion and cook until softened about 3 minutes

7. Add cooked noodles and stir to combine

8. Mix teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds in small bowl

9. Pour sauce mixture over noodles and stir to coat

10. Add beef to skillet and stir until heated through about 1 minute

11. Serve immediately garnished with fresh coriander leaves and extra sesame seeds
