Shrimp and Aioli Crostini
Ingredients
- 225 g / 8 oz raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails removed)
- 115 g / 1/2 cup aioli (homemade or high-quality store-bought)
- 160 g / 2 slices rustic baguette (about 1/2 inch thick)
- 22 g / 1 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 8 g / 2 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Spread softened butter evenly over each baguette slice.
3. Arrange slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 to 6 minutes, until crisp and lightly golden.
4. Remove from oven and let cool for 1 minute.
5. Spread about 1 tablespoon of aioli over each toasted slice.
6. Top evenly with shrimp, arranging them in a single layer.
7. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top.
8. Serve immediately while crisp.
