Smoky Toasted Butter

Ingredients
- 200g / 7 ounces unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon / 1.25 ml flaky sea salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat, about 200°C (392°F) for a conventional grill or 220°C (428°F) for a grill pan.
2. Cut the butter into four equal pieces, roughly 25g (0.88 oz) each.
3. Place the butter pieces onto the grill, leaving some space between each piece for even cooking.
4. Cook the butter for about 4 minutes per side, or until it turns golden brown and develops a rich, smoky aroma.
5. Remove the butter from the grill and sprinkle with flaky sea salt, such as Maldon or Fleur de Sel.
6. Allow the butter to cool slightly before serving, letting it firm up just enough to hold its shape.
7. Serve the grilled butter immediately and enjoy its rich, savory flavor.
