Sparkling Lemon Drop Cocktail
Ingredients
- 400 g (14 oz) lemon sorbet
- 150 ml (5 fl oz) vodka
- 100 ml (3.4 fl oz) limoncello
- 500 ml (2 cups) white sparkling wine, chilled
- 240 ml (1 cup) crushed ice
- Lemon zest, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. 1. Fill glasses with crushed ice to chill them.
2. 2. In a bowl, quickly mix the lemon sorbet with the vodka and limoncello until smooth.
3. 3. Divide the sorbet mixture evenly between the prepared glasses.
4. 4. Top each glass with the chilled sparkling wine, pouring slowly to avoid overflow.
5. 5. Carefully grate some lemon zest over the top of each cocktail for extra flavor and aroma. Serve immediately while still cold and enjoy responsibly.
