Taco Style Meat Gratin with Baked Tomatoes

- 500 g (1.1 lbs) ground meat (beef, chicken, or quorn)
- 150 g (5.3 oz) shredded cheese, 31% fat content
- 150 g (5.3 oz) corn kernels
- 4 medium-sized taco tortillas
- 1 packet of taco seasoning mix (approx. 25-30 g or 0.88-1.06 oz)
- 1 can of tomato salsa (approx. 250-300 g or 8.8-10.6 oz)
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C or 350°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat with the taco seasoning mix and mix well until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.
3. Transfer this mixture to a greased 23x33 cm or 9x13-inch baking dish, making sure the mixture covers the entire surface.
4. Arrange the tortillas on top of the meat mixture, overlapping them slightly so they cover the entire surface.
5. Pour a can of tomato salsa evenly over the tortillas, covering them completely.
6. Sprinkle shredded cheese and corn evenly over the salsa layer.
7. Bake the mixture in your preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and becomes bubbly.
8. Serve this dish hot, accompanied by tortilla chips and a side of red onion salad.
